When paying my bill online it asks me for the cards start and expiery date but instead of being numbers like it is on the card it gives months like Jan feb march and so on
my card and any other card I have seen has the months 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 not jan feb march so can this be looked into and see if it would be more easier to have it the way it says on the card and the way every other company except talk talk do it. people want to pay their bill without having to work out which month is the 7th month of the year!!!!!!!!!

Hello Rodders,
I can see your quandary Harry however there is a simple yet effective way of resolving this issue. Simply select the number from the below and enter the corresponding month when asked online: JAN - 01 FEB - 02 MAR - 03 APR - 04 MAY - 05 JUN - 06 JUL - 07 AUG - 08 SEP - 09 OCT - 10 NOV - 11 DEC - 12 It may also ask for the year yet only allow you to enter two digits instead of the normal four for this you just following the below example: e.g. "2010" would be entered as "10" Hope this helps Stephen

yes seriously even when you telephone up and ask to pay your bill and they ask the start date and you tell them its the 7th month they then pause to work out what is the 7th month. The whole process could be made better if they used numbers for months like credit cards and all other companies except talk talk use. I repeat, people want to pay their bills without having to work out what month corresponds to a number ![]() ![]()

I do get what you two are saying it is very easy to work out that the 3rd month is march etc but why should we need to work this out when they can just change the format so it matches what it says on peoples bank cards.
This is the first time I have ever used the online thing to pay my bill with Talk Talk but I have used many other places online with my card and have never seen the format with the month instead of what it says on my bank card. Also like I said when paying my bill using the telephoen support when they ask @what is the expiry date on the card" I tell them the 7th month then they need to work out what the 7th month is. Like I said not a big deal just never seen it done this way before. All other places use numbers like on the cards.

I understand what your saying rodders, i will feedback to the on-line team, maybe its something they can update in one of the future releases of myaccount. Thanks
